Information
It is a small traditional village located on the banks of the river of the same name, 70 km from San Pedro de Atacama. It has a church and a population dedicated to agriculture and animal husbandry.To get to Río Grande from San Pedro de Atacama, take Route 23 in the direction of Calama and 35 km from San Pedro or 64 km from Calama there is a road. You follow this road for 25 km, passing through Yerbas Buenas, until you reach a fork in the road. Take the road to the right and drive another 10 km to the town.
