Information

It is a village located in the north of the province and on the banks of the Neuquén River. It has a tourist information office, grocery shops, a municipal camping site and a provincial inn.

It has a path along the waterfront with a viewpoint, where the confluence of the Varvarco and Neuquén Rivers can be seen from the top.

From Varvarco, if you take road 43 towards the north, there are places to visit:
- After 12 kilometres, there is a dirt road on the left that leads to a place called Los Bolillos, which are geological formations generated by the action of the wind.
- If you continue up to kilometre 21.5, the Domuyo Natural Protected Area begins, where the Domuyo volcano and several tourist attractions originated by the volcanic activity of the area are located.

To get to Varvarco, it is a 21 kilometre drive from the locality of Las Ovejas along Provincial Route 43, which is a gravel road along this stretch.
