Information
It is a village in the centre-west of the Argentinean province of Neuquén, about 231 km from the provincial capital. It is on the banks of the Agrio River, where there is a bridge that crosses it.
It has a tourist information office, grocery shops, petrol station, restaurants and lodgings. It has a municipal camping site with tables and barbecues by the river. It is also a passing place for tourists going to Caviahue-Copahue and the Pino Hachado border crossing.
Las Lajas is reached by the paved National Route 40, which is 56 km from Zapala and 157 km from Chos Malal. There is a bus terminal with public transportation from Chos Malal and Zapala.
