La Paz

Information

It is a locality situated on the east bank of the Paraná River, towards the north of the province. It has hotels, a camping site, a petrol station, ATM, supermarkets and restaurants.

It has a pedestrian path on the waterfront, at the end of which there are some viewpoints and the municipal beach of El Faro. In front of this area there is a gully with a lighthouse and about 100 metres away there is a regional museum. From there, about 3 km. away, you can get to La Curtiembre Park, which has another public beach with a camping site, toilets and short trails to get to know the environment of the place.

To get to La Paz:
- By bus: daily direct transport arrives to its bus terminal from the cities of Buenos Aires (Retiro station), Corrientes, Gualeguay, Paraná and Rosario. Some days of the week they also arrive from Córdoba.
- By car: its access is through the National Route 12, at about 83 kilometres from Esquina (Corrientes) and 157 kilometres from the city of Paraná.
