Information

It is a town in the southwestern part of the province of Corrientes, located about 103 km from the city of Goya. It is situated on the banks of the Corriente River, a short distance from where it flows into the Paraná River, in a complex area with channels, streams and islands that resembles a small delta.

It has services such as a tourist information office, an ATM, a petrol station, accommodations and a few places to eat. Its central area is located along 25 de Mayo Avenue, in the area between 25 de Mayo and 9 de Julio squares. Right in front of the main square (25 de Mayo) is the Armando Martínez Rolón Municipal Historical Museum, which has rooms displaying objects and items related to the history of the city.

One of its attractions is the waterfront promenade, which can be explored while enjoying good views of the Corriente River and its islets. Its beach also stands out, often catching visitors' attention because it is extensive and has plenty of sand. It can be accessed directly from the waterfront promenade, making it easy to combine a walk along the waterfront with some time to relax by the river.

Located along National Route 12, Esquina is an excellent destination to include in a circuit of beaches and riverside towns in the eastern parts of the provinces of Corrientes and Entre Ríos. The interprovincial boundary is only 36 km away, so it can also be an interesting option for those traveling through this area of both provinces. To get there by public transportation, there are buses connecting it with the cities of Bella Vista, Buenos Aires, Corrientes, Goya, La Paz (Entre Ríos), Paraná and many other towns.
