Empedrado

Information

It is a locality in the northwest of the province of Corrientes, located 55 km from the provincial capital. It is on the east bank of the Paraná River in an area with large gullies/ravines.

It has a tourist information office, an ATM, grocery shops, campsites and lodgings. The commercial area is on Bartolomé Mitre Avenue between 25 de Mayo and José de San Martín Squares.

The best way to get to its shore is through its municipal camping site, which has all the basic services for visitors. It has an exit to the river, where you can first see a sandy sector and also a sort of balcony or cobbled platform with good panoramic views of the place. From there, you can walk down to a long beach, which has high cliffs of colours and geological shapes that you can walk along.
