Information

This is the name given to a touristic tour in the province of Chubut that consists of a bridge over the Azul River, which after crossing it gives the possibility of taking a trail that leads to another river and a viewpoint with waterfalls. It is located about 2.5 km from the town of Lago Puelo and 11.5 km from the town of El Bolsón (in the province of Río Negro).

When you get there, you arrive at a car park with an information booth and restrooms, which are right in front of the bridge over the Azul River. A little before arriving there is a camping and picnic area. This whole area is ideal for taking photographs, as you can appreciate the footbridge with the river and its banks.

On the other side of the bridge, the trail is the path that opens up on the right. It is not complicated and takes about 1 hour one way. It is worth mentioning that you have to be careful as there are some forks. The route starts in a populated area and then continues through a more wild area. At the beginning and end there is some moderate climbing, but for the most part it is flat. A little before the end there is a descent to the Blanco River, where you will be able to appreciate its crystal clear water and sandy and pebbly bottom. The trail ends at a viewpoint where you have a good view of some waterfalls, and also of the watercourse that flows below.
