It is a town in the centre-northwest of the Argentine province of Corrientes. It is about 148 km from the provincial capital Corrientes. It is situated in a biodiverse area close to wetlands. It has services such as supermarkets, restaurants, petrol station and ATM.
In the town you can visit the Balneario Laguna Limpia (a recreational area), which has a body of water with a pier, a viewpoint and a water slide. Around it there is place for an afternoon picnic. At one side of this complex is an amphitheatre where events are organised from time to time.
For those interested in natural sites, a 10 km drive to the Mburucuyá National Park is a must (21 km to the visitor centre). It is a protected area with campsite, trails and the possibility of spotting wildlife with facility.
To get to Mburucuyá, buses come daily from the cities and towns of Bella Vista, Buenos Aires, Corrientes, Esquina, Goya, Gualeguay, Saladas and Santa Lucía.
