Cabalango

Information

It is a village in the Argentinean province of Córdoba, about 5 km from Tanti and 6.5 km from Villa Carlos Paz. For those who visit it, it has some basic lodgings and shops.

It is located in an environment of low mountain ranges. Its main attraction is the Los Chorrillos stream, which is wide and its main characteristic is that the water flows over huge rocks forming pools, with shaded green spaces on its banks. It has a public sector near the access bridge that leads to the road coming from Carlos Paz. There is a waterfront with parking, some shops, restaurants and bars.

In the hot summer season, especially in January and February, it tends to be crowded, but it is generally quieter than other tourist places in the region.

How to get to Cabalango:
- By bus: buses come and go from Carlos Paz every day.
- By car: you can get there on a fully paved road from Carlos Paz, or on a paved road with cobblestones from Tanti.
