Chaviyú Forest Reserve

Information

It is a forest reserve located on the banks of the reservoir of the Salto Grande Dam, 12 kilometres away from Federación, in the province of Entre Ríos.

To get there from the centre of Federación you have to cross the bridge that is on one side of the town (it would be Sixto Ríos Avenue). Then follow the signs on the road, although my recommendation is to use a GPS because there are several forks.

This is a zone with a eucalyptus forest. It has an area of pebble beaches on the shore of the lake, which normally has calm and clear waters. The place is generally quiet, without too many visitors.
