Villa Paranacito is an excellent tourist destination for water activities, as it lies along the banks of the Paranacito River and is located in an area with a significant network of canals and streams.

It’s possible to navigate the main Paranacito River, and connect with other waterways such as Arroyo de la Tinta, Sagastume Grande, Sagastume Chico, among others. The fluvial network has many kilometers including secondary rivers and tributaries, allowing for excursions to explore different environments and observe the abundant native birdlife.

Along the access road, which runs parallel to the river, there are several campgrounds and accommodations with boat ramps. For those without their own boat, there are local providers in the town center offering excursions at affordable rates. Without a doubt, it's a perfect destination for those who enjoy this activity. It also offers services such as lodging, campgrounds, shops and fuel stations.

IMPORTANT: If you plan to navigate with your own boat, it’s important to bring a GPS (with preloaded maps that work offline, as there may be no signal), an extra fuel tank and avoid venturing too far. Keep in mind that the network of streams is complex and there's a chance of getting lost. It’s also necessary to carry the mandatory/regulatory safety equipment, and of course, avoid going out on days with high water levels or strong winds.
