Information

It is a town located on the banks of the Paranacito River, in the southeastern tip of the Argentine province of Entre Ríos. It is about 94 km from the city of Gualeguaychú and around 160 km from the national capital Buenos Aires.

It offers services for visitors such as a tourist information office, grocery stores, restaurants and accommodations. It also has a fuel station and a bank with an ATM.

It's excellent for water activities as it lies on the banks of the Paranacito River, in an area where by navigating short distances one can access an interesting network of streams and canals. This allows for excursions and the discovery of different environments. There are tourism providers offering boat rides, and along the river there are plenty of campgrounds and cabins with boat ramps.

Moreover, this opportunity to take boat trips provides the chance to explore and observe the local native wildlife, especially aquatic birds. It's very common to see the three species of kingfisher (green kingfisher, Amazon kingfisher and ringed kigfisher), as well as various types of herons, ibises, and ducks.

To get there:
— By car: from National Route 12, at kilometer 151, a secondary road branches off leading to the town. This road stretches 22 km, of which 15 km are paved and the last 7 km are gravel.
— By bus: the town has a small bus terminal where public transportation arrives from the cities of Buenos Aires and Gualeguaychú.
