Information

The place is a hill in Tandil that in the past had a huge rounded rock called Piedra Movediza, more than 5 metres high, which was balanced and oscillated on the edge of the mountain. That original boulder fell in 1912 and today it stands broken at the base of the hill. A metal replica was installed in its place, which is what can be seen today.

It is located about 4 or 5 km from the centre of Tandil. You can get there by taking Lunghi Avenue and turning left on Dante Alighieri Street. It takes about 10 minutes by taxi or by taking bus 503 (blue).

You get to a place where you can park and there are craft stalls. There begins a low-difficulty path (for people in good physical condition), which leads up the hill to where the replica of the stone is.
