Information
This tourist and religious attraction of Tandil has a main staircase that leads to a 22-metre cross located on the top of a hill. It can also be climbed through a Way of the Cross with its stations. Within this area there is also the Santa Gemma chapel and a grotto.It is very popular all year round, but particularly crowded during Holy Week.
It is close to the centre of Tandil, only one and a half kilometres away. You can walk there or take the bus line 505 (brown). If you go by car, you take España Avenue, which changes its name to Monseñor de Andrea Avenue when you cross Rivadavia Avenue. This avenue leads to a car park from where you can access the stairway that leads to the cross.
