Information
It is a river with water at a temperature of more than 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), which flows through a canyon and forms natural pools. It is located in the Andean area of Chile at about 3500 metres above sea level. The water is rich in different minerals that make it healthy.
To get there, from San Pedro de Atacama you drive 28 km on a dirt road that goes north, the same road that leads to Guatín and the geysers of El Tatio.
The site has a car park for vehicles, and there are changing rooms and toilets inside. The site is very popular with tourists.
