It is a beach and recreational area in the city of Concepción del Uruguay, located along the coast of the Uruguay River.
It is somewhat far from the city, so getting there involves traveling through a natural area. To get there from Concepción's main square, take 25 de Mayo Street north for 1.1 km. Turn left, follow a curve and take 25 de Junio Avenue for 550 meters. You will reach a roundabout where the road to the beach begins. From there, it is 4 km to the destination.
It has a long sandy beach with normally clear river water. It is surrounded inland by green areas with trees that provide shade.
During the hot high season, particularly in January and February, it is in full swing and attendance is usually very high. It has designated camping areas, making it possible to stay overnight there. During that time, there may be food stalls and on some weekends there are usually concerts and/or festivals on the beach.
On the other hand, during the low season many services are often not available and it is recommended to bring everything necessary depending on how long you plan to stay there.
