Information

From the center of the city of Arica, if you take Comandante San Martín Avenue to the south, you can access to several attractions that are located on the coast:
- The first beaches are El Laucho (2 km away) and La Lisera (3 km away).
- At 3.5 km is Brava beach, which is not suitable for bathing.
- At 4 km is Arenillas Negras beach, named after the black color of the sand due to its composition.
- Then there is a long stretch without beaches until km 9 where Los Corazones beach appears, not suitable for bathing.
- At km 10 there is a parking lot, which is where you can get with a vehicle and you must continue walking. On the trail, after 250 meters you can see the Cuevas de Anzota (Caves of Anzota). They are caverns formed by erosion, where in other times there were primitive inhabitants. Continuing along the path you reach a good beach called La Liserilla, which has a natural environment where you can see many birds. There are also some small islets where sea lions can be seen.
