To get to Bahía Inglesa, which is on the Pacific coast of the Atacama region of Chile, there are different means of transport:
1. By bus: there is public transport that leaves from the Caldera bus terminal, which is 6 km from Bahía Inglesa. These buses come from Antofagasta, Copiapó, La Serena and Santiago.
2. By car:
- Bahía Inglesa is connected by a 7 km asphalted road to Route 5, which links it to the main cities of the country. La Serena is 400 km away and Santiago is 870 km away.
- The town of Caldera is only 6 km away from Bahía Inglesa by another asphalted road.
3. By plane: the airport Desierto de Atacama in Copiapo is 23 km from Bahía Inglesa. There are direct flights from Santiago, and connecting flights from many other places.
