It is a locality placed in the Conlara Valley, in the northeastern part of the province of San Luis. It has a tourist information office, lodgings, places to eat, shops, an ATM and a petrol station.
Its main tourist attraction is the Río Conlara Municipal Complex. This camping and recreational site has a river with abundant water, in a wide area with tables and facilities to spend the day. During the warm months of January and February it receives many visitors.
Other places of interest nearby are Villa de Merlo (18 km away) and the Bajo de Véliz Provincial Park (24 km away).
How to get to Santa Rosa del Conlara:
- By car: from Villa de Merlo it is 18 km by the Provincial Route 5. On the other hand, it is about 45 km from Villa Dolores and 164 km from Villa Mercedes by the National Route 148.
- By bus: there is public transportation coming from the city of Córdoba, the city of San Luis, Concarán, La Toma, Tilisarao, Villa de Merlo, Villa Dolores and Villa Mercedes.
- By plane: some flights arrive from Buenos Aires to the Valle del Conlara International Airport, which is located 7.5 kilometres away. Frequency and schedules must be confirmed.
