This is a trail located on the outskirts and to the south of the city of Tandil, in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires, leading to a Christ statue located at the top of a hill.
It takes about 40 minutes one way and is of moderate difficulty. The route passes through a mountainous landscape and gradually climbs a rise belonging to the Sierras de Tandilia (hills) which characterize the area. At the top there is a Christ statue, and from up there you get excellent views of the surrounding landscapes. Keep in mind that during hot weather the trail can become strenuous, especially during the hours of strong midday sun, as there is a lack of shade.
To get there, from where Saavedra Lamas Avenue ends after running along the shore of Lago del Fuerte (an artificial body of water), take Don Bosco Avenue. Follow it for 2.7 km until a fork, where you take Papa Francisco Street to the right. After about 400 meters you reach a designated area to park vehicles, from where the trail can be accessed on foot.
