Information

It is a park located in the southern part of the city of Tandil in the province of Buenos Aires, at the foot of one of the hills that belong to the Tandilia mountain system.

It is located on López de Osornio Avenue, at the corner of Hermano Sabino Educador Street, about 500 meters from Lago del Fuerte. There is parking available in the lower part, or you can also go about 150 meters uphill along Hermano Sabino Educador Street, which leads to a parking area at a slightly higher point. There is a children's playground there, located at the foot of the hills.

One special attraction of the park is that it has a hill with a trail or track for climbing it, which starts next to the area where the children's playground is located. Although it is a short walk and it takes about 30 or 40 minutes to climb, it is important to keep in mind that in some sections the slope is quite steep. At the top, there is a cross and a spectacular view of the city and Lago del Fuerte, which lies below. One thing to keep in mind when going back down is that there are several tracks or trails that can be confusing: some lead back to Parque del Bicentenario (Bicentennial Park), to the same place where the walk began, while others are longer and end up on the road that runs around Lago del Fuerte.
