There are different means of transportation you can use to get to Gualeguaychú, in the province of Entre Ríos:
1. By bus: it has a bus terminal with direct public transportation from cities such as Buenos Aires, Corrientes, La Plata, Resistencia, Rosario and Santa Fe. There are also direct services from other towns in Entre Ríos such as Chajarí, Concepción del Uruguay, Concordia, Gualeguay, Paraná, Urdinarrain, Victoria and Villa Paranacito.
2. By car:
a) The main access route to the city is National Route 14:
— Heading south, this highway connects with National Route 12 which leads to the city of Buenos Aires.
— The same Route 14 connects northward with other towns in Entre Ríos and with cities in the provinces of Corrientes and Misiones.
— It is worth mentioning that there are different roads from Route 14 that allow you to reach different parts of the urban area of Gualeguaychú. There are two main paved roads, Provincial Route 16 and Provincial Route 20, which lead to the southern and northern parts of the city respectively.
b) National Route 136 runs for 34 km to the border with Uruguay, via the Libertador General San Martín International Bridge which leads to Fray Bentos.
