Lake Guillelmo

Information

It is an extensive lake of crystalline waters that belongs to the Nahuel Huapi National Park, in the province of Río Negro, Argentina.

It can be reached by the paved National Route 40, which is 33 km from San Carlos de Bariloche to the north of the lake and 77 km from El Bolsón to the southern end.

On Route 40 there are a couple of free descents on the west side of the lake, which allow access to its shore. On the other hand, from the same road 40 at the beginning of Mascardi Lake there is a road of about 3 km that leads to a camping site on the eastern shore of the Guillelmo, where there are tables with benches and a long beach.
