Diamante

Information

It is a locality places at the beginning of the Paraná Delta, on the east bank of this river. It has grocery shops, petrol station, ATM, restaurants and lodging.

It has several tourist attractions in its surroundings:
- On the shore and halfway to the locality of Strobel, there is the Valle de la Ensenada municipal recreational area, with a wide camping site provided with tables and chairs, toilets, showers and a natural pond fed with water from the river.
- The Pre-Delta National Park is only 6 km away on a paved road, and is undoubtedly one of the great places to visit in the whole area.
- If you drive about 32 km along Provincial Route 11 towards Victoria, you will find the Doll Stream with its beaches and picnic area.

To get to Diamante:
- By bus: it has a small bus terminal where public transport arrives directly from Paraná.
- By car: you can get there through the asphalted Provincial Route 11, which is 38 kilometres away from the city of Paraná, 73 kilometres from Victoria and 178 kilometres from Gualeguay.
