The city of Puerto Madryn can be reached by different means of transport:
1. By bus: direct buses arrive from Buenos Aires, Comodoro Rivadavia, Las Grutas, San Carlos de Bariloche, Trelew and Viedma.
2. By car: Puerto Madryn is accessed by National Route 3, and it is 65 km from Trelew, 263 km from Las Grutas, 669 km from Bahía Blanca and 1310 km from Buenos Aires.
3. By plane:
- El Tehuelche airport is located about 5 or 6 km from the city centre. There are direct flights from Buenos Aires, but it should be noted that only a few airlines operate.
- There is also Trelew airport 58 km away with daily flights from Buenos Aires, and there may be (to be confirmed) a few days a week from Córdoba and Comodoro Rivadavia.
