Quebrada de López

Information

It is a ravine crossed by the Curtiembre River, located in the outskirts of San Francisco del Monte de Oro.

To get there from the Pringles Square in the centre of San Francisco del Monte de Oro, take Centenario Street, cross the bridge over the San Francisco River and then drive 1.5 kilometres until you reach a fork. Turn left and drive 4.6 km more to reach the ravine.

When you get there you will find a recreational area with camping sites, picnic places, toilets and cement tables. This campsite is usually open in summer (between December and February). If you walk to the bottom, you get to the river where there is an artificial wall, which looks like a waterfall with a large pool.
