Trails of Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve

Information

The Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve has several trails that allow you to walk through it and get to know its different natural environments and fauna:
- On the border of the reserve facing the outer street is the Laguna de los Coipos (like a lake). This body of water starts almost at the entrance of Viamonte and extends for 1 or 2 km, and can be appreciated very well walking outside the reserve.
- Once inside the protected area, the Camino de los Lagartos is a trail that runs along the shore of the Laguna de los Coipos on the other side. This 2 km long path extends from the Viamonte entrance to the entrance of Avenida Brasil.
- Another is the Camino del Medio, which is 1 km long and joins the Camino de los Lagartos road with the waterfront.
- The reserve also has a long road that goes along the Río de la Plata with ideal places for picnics. Please note that it is forbidden to swim and/or enter the water (it is worth mentioning that the water of the river is polluted).
