1. Car:
- There are plenty of car rental agencies in the city, and in general the price is affordable.
- Bear in mind that in times of snow/ice on the roads it is compulsory to use chains on the tyres.
- If you are picking up your car at the airport, there are some agencies (not all) that charge a parking fee.
2. Colectivos (city buses): there are several city transport lines that run at set times, and allow you to move around the city and its surroundings. To pay and use this means of transport you need a card called SUBE, which can be bought and topped up at kiosks. The main bus lines are:
- Line 10: it comes from the bus terminal, goes through the city centre, through Colonia Suiza and arrives at Bahía López.
- Line 13: it goes from the bus terminal, through the centre of Bariloche and arrives to Colonia Suiza.
- Line 20: it comes from the bus terminal, goes through the city centre, through Puerto Pañuelo and arrives at the entrance of the Llao Llao Municipal Park.
- Line 50: it goes from the centre of Bariloche to Villa Los Coihues (on the shore of Lake Gutierrez).
- Line 55: it comes from the bus terminal, passes through the centre and goes to Cerro Catedral.
- Line 72: it leaves from the city centre, goes through the bus terminal and arrives at the airport. It usually takes a long time to come.
