Colonia Suiza

Information

It is a town located on the shore of Lake Perito Moreno East, about 24 km from the centre of Bariloche. The name is due to its origins related to Swiss immigrants.

It has grocery shops, restaurants, lodging and camping sites. There is a sector where there is a regional fair. It has an access to a public beach on Lake Perito Moreno.

How to get to Colonia Suiza:
- By bus: with the lines 10 and 13 of urban buses that come from the bus terminal and the centre of Bariloche.
- By car: From Provincial Route 77 (called 'Circuito Chico') there are two exits leading to Colonia Suiza. One is Provincial Route 79 which leaves near the Arroyo López (a stream). And the other one is Genoveva Beveraggi Street, which leaves near the bridge that separates both sides of Lake Perito Moreno.
