Villa Larca

Information

It is a locality of the province of San Luis, located in what is called the Costa de los Comechingones.

It has services for tourists, such as a tourist information office, a petrol station, an ATM and grocery shops.

In the village you can visit the square in front of which there is an artisans' walk and a church. You can also visit the INTI paleontological and archaeological museum.

On the other hand, a few kilometres away there are more tourist attractions:
- Chorro de San Ignacio: there are trails, streams and a waterfall.
- Piscu Yaco Dam: it has beaches in the reservoir and a stream with crystal clear water.

To get there, there is a bus terminal where public transport arrives from other localities of the province, such as the city of San Luis, Concarán, La Toma, Tilisarao, Santa Rosa del Conlara and Villa Mercedes. In high season there is public transportation that runs along the Costa de los Comechingones and takes you to Carpintería, Cortaderas, Los Molles, Papagayos and Villa de Merlo, and even to El Talar and the Piscu Yaco Dam (confirm if they leave at the accesses on Route 1 or enter the places).
