It is a city in the province of Córdoba in the Republic of Argentina. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, receiving crowds of visitors especially in the summer months of January and February.

It has services such as a tourist information office, petrol station and ATMs. From Libertad Avenue along General Paz Street and its continuation 9 de Julio Street is the downtown area with a variety of shops, and when you get to the waterfront you can stroll through the parks that surround it. If you cross the bridge, on the other side of the river, about 500 metres away is the emblematic Reloj Cucú (a cuckoo clock).
The San Antonio River that crosses the city stands out. Its crystalline waters, beach areas and green spaces around it, constitute a unique attraction for tourists. This river flows into the San Roque Dam, where you can visit the wall of the dam and enjoy walks along its extensive waterfronts.
For those who want to go trekking, a good option is the Cerro de la Cruz trail. It is of medium difficulty with steep slopes, has a length of 2200 metres and takes about 3 hours round trip. It is actually a Way of the Cross with its stations and breathtaking views of the city, leading to a monument which is a cross. There are signs indicating the obligatory times to start and return according to the month of the year.
You can visit the Estancia La Quinta park, with wide parks where there is an archaeological sector and another one where there is the quarry from where the material to build the estancia was extracted. It has a museum where you can see archaeological pieces. And you can walk along a cement road that runs parallel to the river with descents to it.
