Playas Doradas

Information

It is an exclusively tourist locality located on the coast of Río Negro.

It has basic services such as a tourist information office, ATM, supermarket and accommodation. It has a municipal camping site with barbecues, showers and a grocery store. There is no petrol station, so you have to refuel in the neighbouring locality of Sierra Grande.

It has a long and very wide beach, with a parallel pedestrian walkway with seats and parking. Besides, there are other attractions in its surroundings:
- If you go about 300 metres in a northerly direction you will reach the mouth of the Salado stream, a totally natural place.
- Towards the south, there is a dirt road that allows you to go along the coast for about 9 kilometres. There are descents to different beaches, such as the beautiful Playa Bonita (about 2 km away) and Playa Los Suecos (about 5 km away).

To get to Playas Doradas, from the locality of Sierra Grande, which is on National Route 3, there is a 31 km road to this place.
