Information

In this protected area there are many trails to walk along, through different environments. You can see areas with gallery forest, others with meadows and yatay palm trees. These paths also allow you to get to know the streams that cross the park.

In one sector there is a beach on the coast of the Uruguay River. Near this beach is a historical site called Calera del Palmar, whose origins date back to Jesuit times.

The park is excellent for wildlife watching. You can see everything from viscachas and nocturnal foxes, to capybaras that frequent aquatic environments, wild lizards in the hot season and dozens of bird species.
