Information
It is a locality situated in the north of the province of Mendoza. It is located in a valley and the Uspallata River flows alongside it.
It has services such as hotels, camping sites, restaurants, supermarkets, ATM and petrol station. It is a good option to stay and to take as a base to visit the great amount of tourist sites that are in its surroundings or on the way to the Andes Mountains.
How to get there:
- By bus: there is public transportation coming from the city of Mendoza, passing through Potrerillos. There are also buses that go to and from Las Cuevas, stopping at Penitentes and Puente del Inca.
- By car (option 1): Uspallata is on National Route 7, which links it to the cities of Mendoza (120 km), San Luis (372 km) and Buenos Aires (1150 km).
- By car (option 2): You can also get there from the city of Mendoza, driving 104 km along the Provincial Route 52. This road is much slower and has gravel stretches, but it turns out to be a great trip, as it crosses the Villavicencio Nature Reserve.
